Rug pit lining for Cheshire Rug Cleaning
Cheshire Rug Cleaning recently moved into their new premises, and installed their own, larger rug cleaning pit to increase their capacity. However, wanting to avoid the issues of using typical pond liner to waterproof their pit, NJT Composites were contracted to fibreglass line, and top coat it to provide a permanent solution.
Custom business sign
Our client needed a custom sign that could be securely fitted to their office door. After confirming all specifications, we produced an aluminium‑effect door sign featuring stainless steel fixings and permanent vinyl in their corporate colour. This provided a high‑quality, professional finish while offering a more cost‑effective solution compared with the other options available to them.
Pond refurbishment
This customer’s pond liner was over 20 years old and had already been repaired once by another company. Less than a decade later, the liner began leaking again.
Because of the pond’s age, the customer was unable to source a new liner in the same shape or size, so they contacted us at NJT Composites to see if we could help.
The liner was brought into our workshop, where we removed the previous repair, restored the original laminate by addressing air pockets and areas of dry fibreglass, and fully prepared the surface for the application of new fibreglass and topcoat. This process allowed us to return the liner to a strong, watertight condition and restore it to its former glory.
Mushroom vents
Our chandlery customer who supplies a wide range of boating parts and essentials, including GRP end caps for rubbing strakes, but required a mushroom vent that would provide maintenance free alternatives to metal vents and mushroom deck vents, all manufactured by NJT Composites.
As specialist GRP manufacturers, we can produce components in both small and large quantities, helping our customer maintain consistent stock levels throughout the year. Our dedicated production capabilities also allow us to offer variations in colour and finish to suit their requirements.
